Future Subway Station Evokes Futuristic Feeling

Torontoist has a post about the proposed Steeles West TTC Station in the northwest corner of York University. What will this mean for the area? Commenters seem a bit concerned that it offers no higher uses, such as office space, residential units or retail, and that it really will only look good if nothing is built up around it.

Aside from that though, it’s pretty Jetsons looking, and I can’t say I’m against that.
